An oldie but goodie, Battlefield, from the book "The Blue and the Gray" by Mary Etherington and Connie Tesene, is a classic Civil War pattern composed of floating star and hourglass blocks. It’s a perfect pattern to use up your scraps. You can also add extra star blocks for a special effect, which we will discuss in class. Come join us and add this beauty to your quilt collection.
