My favorite time of the day, when the light is low and everything is slightly blue.  The birds settle down for the evening and sing their goodnight songs.  This quilt brings that calm and cozy feeling.  The piecing is simply and perfect for a beginner.  There are several different embroidery stitches that are easy to master for any beginner.  The tinting just brings the entire piece alive!  It's time to create your Twilight Garden masterpiece!

6-Month Program

MAKE A NEW SMALL QUILT EVERY MONTH

These little quilts in Kathleen Tracy‘s Small and Scrappy book are wonderful. Based on traditional patterns, these delightful little patchwork treasures are perfect additions to a quilter’s décor. Stitch classic blocks using reproduction fabrics and create your handmade treasures.

As traditional quilters, we have selected reproduction fabrics for 6 small quilts featured in the book. You will receive the book along with the first small quilt kit in month one. After that, you will receive a new kit that includes all the fabrics to complete the top, backing, and binding. We just love Our Littles!

Mother/daughter duo Carrie Quinn and Katie Solberg combine their favorite print motifs and warm color palettes in ARABELLA.  The collection centers on a floral print from the Smithsonian Museum and is complemented by numerous prints from Carrie’s personal collection of antique quilts. When trying to come up with a name, Carrie & Katie wanted something that represented their family and its long history in this country. 

Arabella is the name of the ship that their ancestors sailed from England to New England on in 1630.  Their ancestor, the Reverend George Phillips, led a group of English settlers up the Charles River to settle in what is now Watertown, Massachusetts, where he later founded the Watertown Congregational Church. 

The BOM quilt is a classic medallion style that showcases the beautiful prints in the collection.

Sampler blocks feature simple units suitable for beginners, but that will still challenge and delight the more advanced quilter. The 12-month program is organized so that quilters will begin constructing units for the pieced borders in Month 6, simplifying quilt assembly in Month 12! 

The generously sized 84 square quilt will add a touch of traditional beauty to any home.

Using a mix of wool and cotton as her medium and flowers as her muse, Kathy Cardiff brings her blossoming backyard garden to life in this stunning nine-block sampler quilt bursting with blooms. Merrie Christmas by Buttermilk Basin Wool Block of the Month

This adorable project uses top-quality flannels for the background and borders with hand-felted, hand-dyed woolens for the applique. Gina Z did a fabulous job selecting fabrics and making this BOM exclusive to Meeting House Fabric. Following the pattern of Buttermilk Basin, each block is completed at 12” and is stitched by hand. The project also uses decorative embroidery stitches and embellishments.

Each month for 10 months, you will receive instructions and a new kit to include all the flannel and woolens for the blocks, borders, and bindings. Project Sample designed and created by Gina Zeleznok

Dancing Chickens and Flying Pigs is our newest Block of the Month program concentrating on a whimsical journey of dreams and random thoughts.
Combining linen with woven wool applique and stitchery, it is the perfect project for any hand-sewing enthusiast! The finished size of this quilt is 48" x 50". Each month you will receive a special parcel with instructions and fabrics to complete each block, with the final block with border fabric and instructions to complete your quilt. (Please note, that postage will be added to this)

We selected 2 Moda Muslin fabrics for the background and then chose tons of colors in overdyed/ felted wool, and adornments of tiny bells, and simple stitches make this project great for all levels. SEW MUCH FUN

What a fun Block Of The Month program this is! The wall hanging is all about Christmas, with a bit of whimsy thrown in. The pattern has many images you could use again and again to not only make the wall hanging, but you could make bags, cushions, a naughty & nice list, pincushions, needlecases, the list goes on!

We selected 2 Moda Muslins for the background, then chose tons of colors in overdyed/felted wool, and adorned it with tiny bells and simple stitches to make this project great for all levels. SEW MUCH FUN! Our Sample was made by Cheryl Jenks.
