The Journey Five Prairie Women's Sewing Circle Club pattern set features six new historic anecdotes about what daily life was like for an "ordinary" Prairie woman, circa 1840-1900, who sewed daily out of necessity. Stories vary about the daily goings-on in her life. At the same time, she traveled westward on the Oregon Trail, homesteaded on the Prairie, took care of her family, set up housekeeping, and lived life during the Civil War.
Club Leader: Carol Blackmer
Carol is an experienced quilter who has won many awards for her work. She is excited to lead the reproductive world with this new Repro club and looks forward to sharing the history of these remarkable Prairie Women.
