2020 Class Supply List
Here you will find the supply list for each class and workshop we offer.

Class Standard Supplies 
Sewing Machine (unless otherwise indicated)
Walking Foot and Open Toe Foot 
Rotary Cutter and Small Cutting  Mat
Ruler and Measuring Tape
Seam Ripper and Quilting Notions
Thread, Bobbin and Hand Needle (specific to each project)
Sharp Scissors (paper and cloth) 
All Supplies Listed For Your Class 



Machine Turned Applique:
Open Toe Foot
Machine Applique Kit is required for this class for a $20 (includes multiple use notions, thread)
FQ Background Print
Scraps for Applique Pieces
3/8" Bias Maker (optional)
Your Machine must have ability to do a zigzag stitch

The Brimfield Block:
Five 10" Squares of light, medium and dark fabric
Your favorite hand work thread and needle (we recommend a 40 wt piecing thread and milliner needle size 9 or 10)
Fabric Glue Stick (wash away)
Brimfield Block Template of Paper Pieces
Sewing Gauge
Painter Tape
Frixion Pen
28mm Rotary Cutter or Fabric Scissors
Small Cutting Mat

Charm Party Tote:
35 Charm Squares (5" squares)
1 yard coordinating fabric for lining, handles and pockets
1 1/2 yard fusible fleece
Rigid foam board or card board for bag bottom insert
1 button for outer pocket

Eight Point Star:
1/4 Yard Outer Border
1/2 Yard Setting Background
6 Fat Quarters (2 lt-2 med-2 dk)
Pattern by Edyta Sitar
Ruler for Cutting a 45 Degree Angle

Quilt As You Go:
20 Jelly Strips   (2 1/2" strips by WOF)
20 Charm Squares   (5" x 5" squares)
20 Batting Squares Pre-Cut to 7 1/2"
Walking Foot
Stippling or Darning Foot

Bargello Quilt:

Trip Around The World Quilt:

Mitered Corners:
To Be Announced

Warm Woolen Mittens:
Washed and Boiled Wool Sweater (boil for 15-30 minutes to felt)
1/4 yard polar fleece for lining
Embellishments (buttons, etc.)
Do Not Cut Your Sweater Prior To Class

Boro Patchwork Bag:
1 yard Boro styled fabric or recycled denim, corderoy, canvas, flannel or cotton pieces
1 yard  cotton lining fabric
1 yard single sided fusible fleece (light weight)
2 accent straps ( faux leather, webbing, etc.)
1 set of handles (old belts work great but require D rings)
1 set sew in magnetic closure
Size 16 machine denim needle
# 12 Sulky thread in your choice of color (for quilting)
Large eyed hand needle (wool applique needles work great)

Stippling and Meandering:
Stippling/ Darning Foot  (see the foot on the class photo)
Walking Foot
Dark Colored Thread (40 or 50 wt)
Quilting Gloves
